Greetings from Korea..

Today is the first day I reached my hostel in Chonnam National University in South Korea. Err.. It's freaking cold here! About -40  -3 degrees!!

Actually I have reached Itaewon a few days ago before moving to my new school!

First day,
Taxi is freaking expensive!
Food is freaking expensive!
Accommodation is freaking expensive!  Surprisingly CHEAP because we stayed in guesthouse! Warm and helpful staff ^.^

You guys can search more about this guesthouse here. Staff are helpful and caring! It's just that the place is a bit small.. but it's somehow worth it for the price!!

First Meal in Korea: Cold noodles - VERY bad choice especially during COLD weather! It tastes cold, mild spicy, sour!! And it cost me RM18!!

Night time hanging around in Itaewon! Itaewon is a nice place where many foreigners like to stay here.. Therefore, you can meet different people of different nationality and different cultures. And not to worry, most of the koreans here are able to speak chinese or english or both!

There are all together 7 of us! All of us came for the same purpose - student exchange!


Day 2: Skiing + Lotte Duty Free shop + Myeongdong


 Second day we went to Jisan Resort! First experience to Ski is superb!! hehe~ We enjoyed it so much.. but it's kinda tiring especially when we have to wear bulky clothes to do exercise! I would certainly hope that I could go skiing again one day! Fyi, we paid 65,000 won (appx RM 200)  for the ski (each rental item add another 10000 won (appx. RM 30) - eg. waterproof clothes, waterproof pants) which makes everything quite expensive!!!

Dinner at Myeongdong: this is a hot spot for tourist! lots of street foods and lots of things to buy esp cosmetics! Food and shopping time!! This is the place where u can get many cosmetics samples like bb cream, mask, etc (hohoho.. My Fav).. I love this place so much!


Day 3: Gangnam

Oppa Gangnam Style! Yea, this is the place which PSY mean it! Gangnam is the central of seoul where many you could find many rich people and pretty korean girls.. A very exclusive and high standard place in Korea!!

During the daytime~ It's the end of winter now, that's why you can see lots of dying trees where you could hardly see a single green leaf on it!

 Left only 3 of us for this trip~ Other friends went to their University already..

Night time in the little streets of Gangnam! It's also very happening during night time in Gangnam! Heard that the nightclub there were very famous and you could easily find playboys and plastic gold-diggers!!!

 Day 4:

It's like DAMN cold! The coldest is around -3 degree celsius??? Even thought it is sunny during the day, it's still 2 degree outside!! No mood to go out.. everyone were freezing and icy cool!

And finally, TODAY I arrived my new university.. with my new dorm... will post more about this next time..
