This time go to Singapore, a place where most Malaysians have been before.. some even go there everyday to work! For this time, I went there just for one day.. so this is my suggested itinerary for 1 day..
My Itinerary:
Bugis Street > Merlion Park/ Raffles Place > Marina Bay Sands / Marina Bay Shopping Mall > Gardens by the Bay
The last time I went there was 2 years ago with my sister.. We manage to visit most of the attractions there such as Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, Sentosa, Singapore Flyers.. etc.. So, not much plan for this time.. just being another typical tourist and go to places where tourist go..
Bugis Street:
I missed out Bugis street the last time I visit Singapore. Then later, I came across to many reviews saying that Bugis is the best place for shopping.. They have all kinds of fashion, souvenirs, and some street snacks. Well, one thing that I found reviews were WRONG for Bugis is that, they said Bugis has A LOT of street snacks and food, which I don't agree.. I admit there are some stalls for food and beverage, especially near the entrance.. but.. it's just a few stalls I saw.. I mean.. it's NOT "a lot".. However, I really do agree that there are tremendous of clothes, accessories, watches and souvenirs shop..and there were all in bargain prices!!!
3-storey Bugis Street
The interior look... I love the ambience.. got market feel and it's equipped with air-cond too!
Allow me for Selfie..
Some random shot of the street snacks:
All of them were located next to each other.. quite easily to find if you go in from the main door.. The food stalls are easily noticeable..
4 for $10!! So cheap!! @.@
Just feeling like wanna share this..
Lots of fashion boutique! Girls can go crazy! Some were like only $8, $10, $15....
How to get there:
- Take the East West Line of Singapore MRT line and alight at Bugis MRT Station (It is located just at the exit of the MRT station)
Raffles Place
I love taking pictures near Raffles Place especially near the river.. The buildings nearby seems to have incorporate some English style architecture.. and many Caucasians love hanging around there... It gives me a little feeling like I'm not in Asia...
I don't know whether this is put here for decoration purpose or there are really some people lock their bicycle here.. But, it looks like the view looks greater with the bicycle...
Great river view...
The park looks clean and relaxing..
lemme selfie for another time..
I found this ice cream stall on the way to the Merlion Park.. My saviour in this hot weather! only $1.20 for this ice cream.. However, I remembered I ate it at $1 2 years ago! But despite the increase of $0.20, I think it's still worth it.. The ice cream taste good too!!
On the way to the Merlion Park...
How to get there:
Get off at Raffles Place MRT station on East West Line
Merlion Park
Merlion park is like the most prominent landmark in Singapore. Every moment this place isfloated with tourist. Besides able to look at the Merlion statue, one can easily spot the Marina Bay Hotel located across the river.. And the view was breath-taking!
Can easily spot Marina Bay Hotel across the river..
The small Merlion and big Merlion..
How to get there:
Get off at Raffles Place MRT station on East West Line, walk about 15 minutes.
From Marina Bay Hotel..
From here, there's 3 giant trees and the cloud forest of gardens by the bay..
The behind skyway is OCBC skyway, named after it because it is the main sponsor for it..
and yeap! A nearer picture of this gigantic tree..
Finally got our OCBC ticket, $5 each!
Getting ready to go up!
On top of OCBC skyway...
This photo was taken on the OCBC skyway..
Up there was very windy and my hair just got messy so easily.. so, not gonna post my messy hair photos here.. If you ask me whether it is worth to pay for the $5 for this OCBC skyway, my answer would definitely be YES! I recommended you visit this place during:
1) Sunset - like what I did! Windy, sunset view and no hot weather!
2) Night - where all the lights were lighten up! It's so so so beautiful at night!
Too bad I did not managed to stay up that late for the fantastic view! But, from all the reviews and pictures I see, I think the view is the best at night! Im gonna prove to you I'm right =D

This place is my main objective to come to Singapore this time.. This place was build 2 years ago, and I did not manage to pay this place a visit during my last trip to Singapore! Came across many good reviews about this place.. and heard many of my friends said the giant trees were superb especially during the night. Erhm.. well, my intention was actually to stay up till night for the breath-taking view of the giant trees.. But because we are not staying in Singapore for a night, so, we did not stay up that late to enjoy the view..

These are some random photos I got from the internet! And since the sunset view is already so good, so I have the reason to believe that the night view is A.W.E.S.O.M.E too! OK lah, let's make a conclusion lah.. (suddenly sounds so Singaporean).. The Best Time to go hor, is the time the sun just about to leave lor.. then we can enjoy both view lor..
Looking back at my photos with these photos, I really think I got to buy a good camera already, since I love to take picturesand selfies, lol! By the way, all the photos today are from iphone! I did not bring my camera that day.. haha!! but the phone camera turns out to be out of my expectation too when I look at them via computer!
