Mudeung San 무등산, Gwangju famous mountain

Mount. Mudeung (무등산), is a mountain located in Gwangju. I went there 2 weeks ago on 12 May 2013. It is a small mountain, therefore the journey takes about 2 to 3 hours to the top. Total takes about 4 ~ 5 hours of hiking. This mountain is one of the mountain that has the best view I have been.

There are volunteers to help u out around the area where the bus stop. Some can speak a little bit of English (so, no worries if you can't speak korean well).

 Many uncle went there hiking as well... One of the Uncle very good! He offer us some candy and chocolates and even energy drink! So grateful =D

 The peak in Mudeung San. The peak behind is the highest peak in Mudeung San called 천왕붕 (Chon-Wang-Bung). Recently, they close it so we are unable to go to that peak.

 Im so happy... this place is so nice.. so grateful that I came!

Information to Mt. Mudeung (from Chonnam National University):
From 전남대후문 (CNU humun) , Take 07 bus to 광주역 (Gwangju Station), from there take 1187 bus to 원효사(무등사장) (last stop). Many uncle/aunty dressed in full hiking suit will be there too.
